Dyson I tend to use the Dyson more than the Hoover. Good observation but doing it right hasnt been enough for Apache or the OSS movement.
Cuil did it right in building the hype, but then they dropped the ball when it came to delivering the product.
I went, I searched and I'll never go back. I'd say the whole Microsoft "launch a buggy product and then fix it later" strategy isn't a great one when it comes to search.
I also think the name is a bad one. Everyone immediately knows how to spell Google it when they hear the name, and how to pronounce it if they see it. It made it easy for word of mouth recommendations to spread.
On the other hand I love the layout of the results, and the privacy policy. |
