Hot with Kiddorati....make love not Warcraft

This was an episode of South Park that aired last autumn, where they are all on World of Warcraft - currently hot with the kiddorati. Part 1 is here , part 2 is here

I've put it up here because I was talking to Lynette Webb last week, and she mentioned that she uses this episode to explain MMORPGs to people who aren't familiar with them, as it covers not only the game but a lot of the associated social network issues as well.

Interestingly, this is still available on Google Video (and BitTorrent of course) but has been removed from YouTube.

(There is a rather good article about how it was done on Machinima (We have been quite fascinated with machinima overall as a disruptive User Generated Content form for a while as well)

Postscript - wonder what would happen if South Park got hold of Habbo Hotel, the Habbo way would be bent way out of shape. as to South Park in Second Life....anyone got a Kenny avatar?
