Thanks for the post. Re: "Another year or two of sitting pretty wouldn't have hurt right now methinks." It would have hurt a lot, actually. All we have is our time. Per the following, I know how to raise enough money to wait it out but if I did, none of the current shareholders (common or preferred) would make any money. There's always productive projects to work on in our world, and time is far more precious. "Unless Lookery reached an expansion stage, where the sales model was known and repeatable, I’m ever-more convinced that raising institutional capital would not have increased our chances of creating value for the existing shareholders. The company would have survived longer, but that’s not the goal."
Yes, I saw your decision Scott and I respect it as one of a principled person. I think the further explanation you gave here of opportunity cost is very useful.
