That SAI story is utter bullshit, to put it bluntly. If you read the follow-up tweets to the original, it's clear that:
1. The new features are only using stuff which is already available via the API, and; 2. Blodget is massively exaggerating in order to get page views - something that, given his history, should be no surprise! It's basically sensationalist rubbish, based on a single tweet from someone with no serious knowledge of the company's business plans. As John Gruber put it: " This sort of deliberate sensational exaggeration of an innocent remark is why Apple people can't say a word about work." And, as Glenn Fleishman followed up: "I can't emphasize enough how many underemployed tech writers there are now working as page-view whores." ![]() |
