Its time to pay the 'interest' on the 'loan' we took out by using this 'free' service... Its not going to be pretty. Rob.

Alan - do you really think the ads will be that annoying?
I think a bigger problem might be that they people don't notice them/learn to ignore them, as they have with display ads. It could be that Costollo's talk of resonance is directed more at advertisers than consumers.

I think "annoyance" will be a function of frequency and lack of "resonance" I have no doubt you are right re "resonance" - but I'd go further, its to build a business model and plan with an exit valuation |
