Nice idea Alan. But as an actual paid co-Editor of TechCrunch UK who is now facing the loss of real income because of Arrington's action, could you please give me and Sam just 5 minutes longer (ok, maybe 5 hours) to try and do something about this before the opportunity to pay our mortgages and feed our families whithers away because someone else has decided they'd quite like to scramble over our dead bodies and capitalise on our success.
Mike my mistake, I thought the idea of getting together was to create something for you and Sam to capitalise on so you could pay your mortgage, obviously that isn't something you need so you can count me out.
Gary and Alan. Apologies. We appreciate everyone's support. Totally. I got the wrong end of the stick. But unlike Le Merde, I am not going to ask for my comment to be removed! A party is a great idea. Watch Sam and my blog for news soon. Thanks again. Seriously.
Mike, no worries - likewise apologies if I caused you any inconvenience. Go well.
Mike, the last thing I had in mind was to trample over you guys! It seemed that as y'all were locked out of TC and so on yesterday, you were welcome to use this space to rally and then move on. That offer was made genuinely and I thought I made it clear that this was temporary until you guys could get set up again.
Clearly the blogosphere is very prone to ease of misunderstandings! I will exit now as gracefully as I can. I do think a party is a good idea though |
